HANDWRITING
We brainstormed "se" words that say "ss" such as mouse and horse. The students chose three "se" words to write three times and wrote the date once.
MATH
We started the "Show What you Know" section for this unit after finishing last day's corrections. Our test will be next Thursday, March 18, 2010.
SCIENCE
We did a discovery activity looking at various solids (from coconuts to salt) and describing them using properties such as colour, size, shapr, and texture.
SHOW & SHARE
Today the students shared a green hummingbird WebKinz, pictures of green items, a green John Deere tractor, books, and a snake (stuffed) named Venom.
