HANDWRITING
We brainstormed "are" words that say "air" such as prepare and beware. The students chose three to write three times and wrote the date once.

FRENCH
Today we added information on the gorilla and snake to our duotangs.

MATH
We discussed and shared some of the problems that were written yeaterday and then started work on page 122. This is the last section for the unit and we should have our Unit Test at the end of next week.

Today's useful startegy was counting on:

358 = 349 + _______

349 --> 350 --> 358
1 + 8 = 9

So 358 = 349 + 9

SCIENCE
We reviewed what we know about matter, molecules, gases, liquids, and solids. Then we did page 39 in our duotangs (a fill-in-the-blanks activity) and labeled pictures of gases, liquids, and solids.

SHOW & SHARE
Today we heard about Jasper, United States, Scotland, India, and Cuba. Please remember that this is SHOW and share. Many students are forgetting to bring something to show and just sharing. A new topic list and schedule for Show & Share for the rest of March went home today.

Study for Spelling tomorrow and remember sub lunch orders are due tomorrow.
