HANDWRITING
We brainstormed "air" words today such as stairway and chair. The students chose three "air" words to write three times and wrote the date once.
MATH
Today the students explored how to write an addition and a subtraction word problem when given some information. The students worked in pairs and used the following information to write the problems.
"Lu-Anne and Fisher helped clean up in the gym. Lu-Anne picked up 243 bean bags. Fisher picked up 206 bean bags."
SCIENCE
We actually did computers during this time as we couldn't get onto the World Math Site this morning as it was super busy. Everyone played several games and their points will go to our school's total.
