FRENCH
The class went to the computer room to finish up our blog posts on our "Wild Zoo Selves." You can see them at ClassBlogmeister.

HANDWRITING
Today was the last sound for "ough" in words such as cough and trough. Once again there weren't too many words to choose from so we wrote two words four times each and the date once.

MATH
We continued work on multiplying and repeated addition.

SCIENCE
We finished our discussion of solids that melt. Melting can be useful in eating (butter on popcorn), cooking, drinking (water from ice), and arts and crafts (glue gun melting a glue stick).

SHOW & SHARE
Here are a few more riddles shared:
1. Why don't cows get the exact number in Math?
2. What is a dog's favourite kind of cake?
3. What do you call a dinosaur that wears cowboy boots and a cowboy hat?
4. Ten copycats were sitting in a boat. One jumped overboard. How many were left?

Answers:
1. They are always rounding up.
2. A 'pup'cake.
3. Tyrannosaurus Tex.
4. None, the rest would all copy and jump overboard too.

We finished "The 39 Clues: Maze of Bones" and after Easter we will start "The 39 Clues: One False Note."
