HANDWRITING
The students brainstormed "ow" words that have a long o sound such as yellow and fellow. They chose three words to write three times and wrote the date once.
MATH
The students further explored created arrays to help solve division problems. An array is an arrangement of objects in equal rows.
SCIENCE
The students performed a discover activity about items that float and sink. They discovered that wood, candles, corks, paper, plastic spoons, styrofoam, and toothpicks float and that rocks and metal spoons sink.
SHOW & SHARE
The students discussed bees, ladybugs, bald eagles, hawks, piders, and cardinals in our bugs and birds theme.
