ASSEMBLY
We started the day with the second last assembly of the year and Mr. English's announcement that there are only 14 days left of school.
MATH
The students wrote their test on fractions and everyone did very well. Great job!
SCIENCE
The students did some proof-reading of a letter about the difference about soil and dirt. Did you know that someone who studies dirt is called a pedologist? We also read about the climate and soil in the Maritimes and discovered that P.E.I. produces enough potatoes to make 10 million bags of potato chips each year.
SHOW & SHARE
We heard about summer holiday plans to go camping, swimming, and travelling to Victoria, British Columbia and Nova Scotia.
* Spelling test tomorrow.
* Friday's swimming is cancelled as the pool is not opening until Saturday.
